LC Gate Monitoring System

Level Crossing (LC), Gate status monitoring system is micro controller based and meant for using in Railways, to monitor LC gate status from station. The system consists of two major components namely, LC Monitor - Gate and LC Monitor - Station located at respective locations.

The real time status of LC gate (open/close) is sensed, 2oo2 logic performed by the LC Monitor - Gate and communicated to LC Monitor - Station. The communication medium between LC gate and station is through a pair of quad cable.

A gate close command is generated from station by pressing a push button. The gate man gets an alert on annunciation window along with a buzzer to close the gate. Once the gate is closed the status information is displayed on annunciation window in station along with buzzer. Each event of push button operation, gate close and gate open are logged in cloud server with time stamp.
